We are having such a great time photographing our ‘09 seniors! Here are a couple from this week.

This week was a great week filled with twins. The first set was graduating from high school, while the second was preparing for Kindergarten. My job is the best! It is so wonderful to work with such nice families. The Petrizzi Twins were some of the nicest guys I have photographed and we were lucky enough to have a few images with the whole family as well. There session included their heritage, the love for Atlee and running track, and even their true passion for Carolina. Go Tarheels!

Here are a few images from our younger set of twins.

We have found that some of the most simplistic images have the most impact. Having said that, these are two of my favorite images from Morgan’s session. The color harmony is great with her clothing selections and the backgrounds and her expression is natural. Morgan, you were great to work with and I am so glad you made the trip down from Chancellor High school in Spotsylvania!

Keeping up with a blog during our busy season can be difficult, so here are a few images from some of our recent high school senior girls.

About six years ago I met Josh for the first time while photographing Passages Adventure Camp. Today, he still enjoys kayaking and now works as a counselor at the Camp. It was only appropriate to get a few images of him kayaking for his senior portraits. It was definitely an adventure climbing down to Pipline to capture images like this one, but it was definitely worth it! Thanks for a great session and for tracking us down to capture your senior portraits.
It is such an honor to photograph a maternity portrait. You can just see the joy and hope that a mother and father have for their unborn child. Starting with the maternity portrait, I really feel like a part of a family even before the baby has arrived. And to truly document the growth of a family is to accomplish our goal of creating images that tell a story for generations to come.

Laine and Austin definitely have a passion for baseball and it was great to incorporate their interest into their senior portraits.

Jessica and John had such a wonderful wedding and as you can see, Jessica was a beautiful bride! We wish you many years of happiness!

In my opinion, one of the greatest blessings in life is to have a child. Although I don’t know this personally, I have the privilege of photographing many little blessings and also documenting their changes over time. Hunter you are a true blessing to your parents and I look forward to seeing you grow.
On another note, I think he just might grow up to be a minister…….check out the natural prayer hands.
